This project was to increase manufacturing capacity and improve personnel and product flow within the existing facility.
The project was split into a number of phases due to space constraints and to aid constructability. The project started in Q1 of 2014 and finish in Q1 of 2017. The phased development was as follows:
Relocate existing parts store
Renovate existing clean space & extend this clean space
Relocate existing manufacturing equipment
Renovate existing plant & new plantroom

As part of the enabling works, the client’s equipment was relocated within the existing cleanroom which included the relocation of service stacks, new secondary cooling water pump sets and associated pipework distribution for a number of existing services.
The works were undertaken during a live manufacturing environment
