Baush + Lomb Area 8 awarded LEED accreditation

Waterford, Ireland - The contact lens factory (Area 8) in Waterford has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the US Green Building Council. Bausch + Lomb are located on the outskirts of Waterford in the southeast of Ireland. Bausch + Lomb are part of the Bausch Health. The building was designed from inception with LEED in mind. It is a significant achievement for a factory to achieve LEED accreditation.
